EZULWINI – Eswatini has officially unveiled the Royal Signature Expo 2026, a high-end, invitation-only showcase that will run from April 25 to 27 at the Eswatini International Convention Centre, with organisers positioning it as a major platform to attract investment, promote enterprise and elevate the country’s profile on the global stage.

Launched under the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority and endorsed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sikhanyiso, the event will coincide with celebrations marking His Majesty King Mswati III’s birthday and 40 years on the throne. In her remarks, the Princess said the moment came at a time of “profound national significance” for the Kingdom.

“It is a privilege to join you today as we introduce what stands to become a defining platform in Eswatini’s evolving economic narrative,” she said.

Minister of Commerce Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo delivering his remarks during the event.

Princess Sikhanyiso said the inaugural expo was “not merely an exhibition, but a statement of intent” and described it as “an expression of a nation that is confident in its identity, intentional in its direction, and ready to engage the world from a position of strength.”

She said the platform would bring together “global and regional prestige” with “national mastery”, creating a space where excellence is connected to “opportunity, to investment, and to long-term value.”

The Royal Signature Expo is being positioned as a premium alternative to the traditional trade fair model, with a strong focus on curation, exclusivity and high-value engagement. The aim is to bring together international luxury brands, regional business leaders and selected local enterprises in one setting.

Some of the products that were displayed during the event included Spotted Horse, woven bags, beaded necklaces and many others.

A major attraction of the initiative is the Royal Signature Expo Mega Raffle, which features a E200,000 ticket price and a prize portfolio valued at E50 million. According to the royal endorsement speech, the prizes include a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Mercedes-Maybach, an Aston Martin, a Lamborghini Urus and a high-end jewellery collection.

Princess Sikhanyiso said the raffle was built around a bigger idea than prestige alone.

“The collective effort behind this initiative is evident not only in the establishment of the Expo itself, but also in the introduction of the Royal Signature Expo Mega Raffle, which reflects a core principle – that participation in growth must be meaningful, purposeful, and reflective of collective contribution,” she said.

She added that the initiative invites emaSwati and the global community to take part in a strategic growth platform that positions Eswatini as “a compelling regional and global centre, capable of attracting and hosting both the region and the wider international community.”

The Lutsango regiment brought vibrancy to the event with a powerful cultural dance performance.

The Princess also acknowledged the role played by His Royal Highness Prince Mcwasho in shaping the concept, thanking him for his contribution in working alongside government and private sector stakeholders to help curate the initiative.

Beyond the spectacle, the message from the launch was strongly economic. Princess Sikhanyiso said the real impact of the expo would not be judged by appearance alone, but by outcomes.

“Its true impact will be measured in: the partnerships it enables; the value it creates; and the role it plays in positioning Eswatini within a wider global landscape,” she said.

She formally endorsed the inaugural edition of the expo, saying it would be hosted at “a momentous time for the Kingdom” as Eswatini celebrates His Majesty’s leadership while welcoming regional and global leaders to what could become “a defining and enduring national moment.”

With anticipation now building toward the April event, the Royal Signature Expo 2026 is shaping up as one of Eswatini’s boldest image-and-investment plays yet, combining luxury, enterprise and national positioning in one ambitious platform.
