The Ministry of Agriculture is offering an exciting opportunity for farmers to win a box of day-old chicks at the Eswatini International Trade Fair. In partnership with major hatcheries—Elangeni Chicks (formerly National Chicks) based in Matsapha, and Africa Chicks located in Ngwenya with depots in Nhlangano, Piggs Peak, Mbabane, and Manzini—the Ministry is promoting poultry farming as a viable venture for Eswatini’s farmers.

At the Trade Fair, the Ministry’s poultry section is dedicated to educating farmers about different types of poultry farming, including broiler chickens, indigenous chickens, and rabbits. By visiting the Ministry’s stall at the SEDCO Pavilion, farmers not only get the chance to win a box of chicks but also gain valuable insights into best practices for poultry farming.

The Ministry of Agriculture is showcasing its full range of service offerings at the SEDCO Pavilion, providing farmers with comprehensive support to enhance their farming practices. This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to boosting agricultural development by working closely with industry players like Elangeni Chicks and Africa Chicks to ensure quality chick supply and promote sustainable poultry farming across the Kingdom of Eswatini.
